My property is 2 Dulwich Road, SE24 0PA. We have had a leak from around the downpipe and have been told there are several things wrong with it – for example the swan neck has been put on upside down, the eaves trays project a couple of inches proud of the roof when they should sit under the tiles, the gutter is bowed, the joints aren’t water tight. We are also unsure if there are leaks from the downpipe joins.
We currently have scaffolding installed along the back elevation where the leak is. Please could you confirm if you would be able to come out to the property to take a look at the guttering and quote for the works.
We are working under some time pressure as the leak is holding up other works on the property, so ideally we would be looking to arrange a visit in the next few days, if possible.
The site is controlled by a construction firm who have been doing work inside the property. They can give you access generally between 7.30am and 4pm during the week. The site is closed at weekends. I would also attend, if possible.
