During heavy Rain it is worth checking on your gutter to see how well they are coping

It is worth looking for the following 

Water over flowing the front edge of the gutter
Water running down the down pipe                                                                                              
Water running down the wall
Water cascading over the end of the gutters
Leaks and drips particularly near the straight and corner joiners

Also if you have damp inside your property and have noticed any of the above happening to your guttering then the damp cause is most likely to be your gutters.
